Atwell Wilson Motor Museum

The Atwell Wilson Motor Museum sits just off the Great West Way London to Bristol road between the prehistoric attractions of Avebury and the market town of Calne with its historic centre. There is something for every motor enthusiast – from mighty Rolls Royce, Cadillac and Plymouth wedding cars to diminutive but elegant Little Singer and Issigonis’s experimental Mini 9X. The collection was started in 1981 by the late Richard Atwell and sports over 100 classic cars and motorbikes from the 1920’s onwards, plus a range of automobilia and related items. Recent additions include the 1930’s style garage and the Jack Spittle collection of large-scale lorry models.
